Disc Golf
The course at Creekside Park was established in 1982 and is one of the first 50 disc golf courses in existence. The course has been officially renamed the "Walter Fredrick Morrison Disc Golf Course at Creekside". This renaming was done during the Creekside Open Disc Golf tournament held on May 15th & 16th, 2004. Walter Fredrick Morrison invented and patented the plastic flying disc and was in attendance during the renaming ceremony. The discatcher on each hole in the course could be located in any one of three different positions. Some holes have more than one teepad. So there is a lot of variety to how the course plays. The pins are relocated about every 2 weeks, through out the year. Public (No Fee)Courtesy of DiscGolfUnited.com
