Egin Lakes
I went out there to take pictures for a project. Around sunset it was really beautiful out there and pretty peaceful. I would imagine though that come summer time a lot of people will be out there driving around the dunes. The scenery was very nice, and it definitely makes you feel small standing by all the huge dunes.

Cress Creek Nature Trail
It was a good trail, not too difficult for people to hike on. The views of the river and the farm fields were really pretty as well. I'm sure in the fall, when all the leaves change, it will be beautiful out there. Along the trail there are plenty of rest stops if you need a break. There was a lot of information too about the area on different signs along the trail.

Herbert Idaho Ghost Town
Went out there for a picture taking excursion. The schoolhouse itself was interesting to see. A lot of writing all over the place, which made some pretty interesting details. It really is just the school house, and maybe two other buildings. The other buildings are within someone else's property so beware.

Big Elk Creek
I went there on a backpacking trip through BYU-Idaho. Because it was the middle of fall, all the leaves were changing and the weather was perfect. We didn't have any trouble with wildlife, though saw some people watching mountain goats. Further up the trail there is a nice river that is great for swimming when the weather gets hot. Overall a really fun trip and I would love to go back.

Harriman State Park
Went cross country skiing out there for the first time. I had not gone cross country skiing before, and the trails were not too difficult for a first time skier. The views of the lake and other scenery was beautiful. We were able to see some swans on the lake and learn more about the history of the park. I would love to go again in the summer or fall and hike around someday.

Mist Trail
Went along the trail when I was hiking Half Dome. It can get slick up there from the mist on the rock. There are a lot of steps on the trail, so be prepared for that. It was really fun to be so close to a waterfall, though if you are afraid of heights, I wouldn't recommend this trail.
