Tukwila's temporary Skate Park is located at the Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Ave. So., and celebrated it's Grand Opening May 18, 2002. The park, which is open 8:00 a.m. to sunset, is free to users and features HUNA ramps, 1/4 pipes, grinding rails, fun boxes, and more! The City’s Parks and Recreation Department has been working with a group of local youth skaters to plan a skate park in Tukwila. A committee was formed to choose a final location and begin park design; youth committee members helped design the new park and made a presentation at a Tukwila City Council meeting.Courtesy of archive.tukwilawa.gov
