The Devil's Punchbowl, also known as Solutions Hole, is a unique swimming hole formed from a spring on the Chassahowitzka River. This tidal river creates a unique mix of fresh and salt water providing interesting colors and wildlife.
The Devil's Punchbowl is the main pool formed from one of the freshwater springs mixing with the salty river. This turquoise pool has clean water and is about 100 feet in diameter and 25 feet deep. This pool has many unique features including a small series of naturally lite tunnels in corral. These tunnels make for great exploration for swimmers and provide hiding places for a variety of marine life. Swimming through these tunnels, or solution holes, should be done carefully and at your own risk.
Near this Parking near any of the springs at Chassahowitzka River costs $1.50 per car. Swimming is allowed all year, with crowds being the lightest during the winter.
