St. Mary Campground is a popular campsite located in the beautiful Glacier National Park in Montana. Nestled in the heart of the park, St. Mary Campground offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and lakes.
The campground is open from late May to early September and offers over 200 campsites for tents, trailers, and RVs. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-proof food storage locker. The campground also has flush toilets, drinking water, and coin-operated showers available for use.
One of the best things about St. Mary Campground is its location. It is just a short drive from the St. Mary Visitor Center and the stunning Going-to-the-Sun Road, which offers some of the most breathtaking views in the park. The campground is also close to a number of hiking trails, including the popular Highline Trail and the less crowded Gunsight Pass Trail.
In addition to its natural beauty, St. Mary Campground also offers a number of recreational activities for visitors. These include fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing.
