Lake St. Cahterine State Park offers shoreline fishing, camping, swimming, and a playground with the purchase of an entrance fee. You can also rent a boat at the park. There is typically a “Let’s Go Fishing” workshop offered on the second Saturday in June. At the workshop, participants learn how to tie fishing knots, make fishing lures, understand fishing regulations, and learn to use spin-casting rods to catch fish.
