Southside Skatepark is located just 10 minutes south of downtown Houston in South Houston. Southside Skatepark is home to Make a Wish Foundation's annual \\\"Texas Skate Jam.\\\" The Texas Skate Jam takes place the first week in November and has been going on for the last 11 years. On the daily, Southside Skatepark is open to members and non-members all day for a very small fee. In fact, it might be the cheapest privately owned skatepark in Houston with a $5 member or $14 non-member all day pass, no sessions. Southside Skatepark's Proshop has the largest hardgoods selection in Texas. With more boards, trucks, and wheels than any other shop in the region. We also have many limited footwear and clothing brands in heavy rotation at all times. If you are skateboarding in Houston, Texas...Southside Skatepark is a destination location that has people from around the world stopping by and checking it out year round. Southside Skatepark will be celebrataing it's 15th anniversary next year in 2009. Southside Skatepark has been a Houston skate scene staple and many pros have called Southside Skatepark home over the last 14 years.
