Hike and Swim

Seven Falls and Three Pools is the perfect location to visit for hikers looking for a rewarding adventure. This four mile round trip hike is steep and moderately difficult, with some climbing on slick rocks required. It is recommended that only hikers with some experience hike this path. The hike Seven Falls leads you up a wooded hill along the stream with beautiful views of several waterfalls along the way. These views are definitely off the beaten path, making for a secluded hiking experience.

Uphill from Seven Falls hikers can continue to the Three Pools swimming hole. This part of the hike is the steepest and most difficult to accomplish, but hikers are soon rewarded with beautiful pools to splash around in. These waterfall fed pools are cool all year round. When the water levels are deeper (mostly in the spring) visitors can jump in the water or enjoy the natural waterslide. The woods and natural rock formations are a rewarding view for those who make it to Three Pools.

The hike to Seven Falls and Three Pools starts on Inspiration Trail. When Inspiration Trail meets Mission Creek, follow the creek upstream until you see waterfalls.

Directions

From the Trailhead...

Pass through the iron, locked gate and follow the paved Edison Rd.

Approx. 3/4 mile cross creek on wooden bridge. Around the bend the road becomes dirt. There is a junction here. To the right the Edison road continues up for a few miles and makes a nice walk or mountain bike ride of its own. For 7 Falls., Stay straight on the dirt road at this junction.
