If the current isn't too strong, it is a real treat to swim in the legendary Salmon River. Here's remote spot with a fantastic view all around - with a nice sand beach and easy access. BE SAFE, DON'T SWIM IN STRONG CURRENT... [There is] a large sandy beach on the Salmon River where you may swim in the river IF THE CURRENT IS NOT TOO STRONG. If the beach is under water, you can be sure THE CURRENT IS TOO STRONG! Go down to Goldbug and soak!
