Swim
Located in the Santa Paula Canyon, the Punchbowls are a series of swimming holes. In order to reach the swimming holes, swimmers will have to hike about 3.5 miles one way from the Big Cone Campgrounds. There is a trailhead and trail swimmers will be able to follow. There is a large 25 foot waterfall flowing into the swimming holes, making it a beautiful place to go. Further up the trail are some natural slides the river makes as it tumbles towards the Punchbowls. The slides have varying degrees of difficulty, the most difficult one being very slick and fast, sending sliders close to a rock wall. Overall it is a beautiful place to visit with lots to do.
