The Pueblo Whitewater Park is an 8 drop playpark located on the Arkansas River in Pueblo, Colorado. The park is approximately .5 miles in length and has drops suitable for playboating. Depending on the flows and the time of year the drops range from very tame (early spring and late fall) to some amazing wave action (Late June early July). Each drop has a sizeable eddy(pool) beneath it with plenty of room. The facility was designed by Gary Lacy. It can be a great place for beginners and also a good place to go for some of the warmest water in the state as it sits in Lake Pueblo before being released downstream through a dam.
