A North/South route laced between the private property that is the town of Moab and the Moab Ridge standing on the west side of town. Skirting through the rough foothills below the cliffs this trail is built through some improbable terrain. All singletrack, this is classic Moab riding. Full of grade reversals, some steep grades & tight corners. With an amazing amount of rock work and armoring this trail has taken a lot of manual labor to put in. The lush Moab Valley is below you, the spires of Arches N.P. one direction and the snow capped La Salle Mtns the other, there is plenty of scenery to look at. Taking your eyes off of this trail for any length of time in order to check out said scenery is not really advised due to the exposure on most of it. Although very new this trail is quickly becoming a favorite of the local crowd because of its close proximity to town. Can be done as an in & out (double mileage), shuttle or ride the road back for a loop- any way it’s a decent ride. Courtesy of Singletracks.com
Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
