A fun trail built as a section of the Klondike Bluffs system utilized to complete a loop out of Baby Steps - EKG or Little Salty. From the trailhead there is a short sandy section to get to the slickrock. From here it’s a climb for a couple miles across several slickrock sections and twisty singletrack up to the ridge. Once on the ridge the trail twists and turns through the pines and boulders granting riders fantastic views or the Salt Valley below and Arches N.P. beyond. Will also be a fun downhill when accessed form the top end.The trails in this network have also adopted the marking system of painted lines on the slickrock. Here they have been color coded by trail;Klondike Bluffs; White.Baby Steps; Blue.Mega Steps; Green.Little Salty; Yellow.EKG; Orange. Courtesy of Singletracks.com
Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
