SWIMMING IS NOT PERMITTED

Much of this area was purchased by Countryside Conservancy in 2004. Since that date we have opened the property to the public, but we DO NOT PERMIT SWIMMING on Conservancy property. There is therefore no "sanction" to use this site for these activities. Signs on the property clearly state our regulations. This is a beautiful spot and we encourage visitors to use it for hiking, fishing, picnicking and other activities, but in order to protect visitor safety, we cannot permit swimming.
