Mountain Bike
Located in Sandy, UT, Little Cottonwood Pipeline trail starts at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon and is a single-track trail with some rocky situations on the trail. The first portion of the trail is smooth but after a mile, the slope increases; which means you will see some rocks on the trail. It's better to have tires that can handle a rocky situation like this. The trail is used heavily sometimes but the trail is wide enough for mountain bikers to pass through easily. After 3 1/2 miles of riding, you will see the trail ends across the creek from an old ruin; there's a site that has old buildings that were destroyed along time ago. The trail is a smooth ride downward with some rocky sections. Always be prepared before you begin to mountain bike.
More Information
Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
