If you think that Dallas trails are too smooth then you need to try Isle du Bois. This is where they put all the rocks. There are rocks going up the hills and down the hills. Then there are some more rocks on the flat parts. Then for good mesure they trew in some more rocks. Isle du Bois has plenty of good downhills. You do have to climb back up the hill to do the next downhill. This might wear you out but it is well worth it. This is one of the best trails in the Dallas system. Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
