Skateboard

Green Valley Ranch is a fast developing neighborhood of Denver, CO, but it did not have skatepark to serve the growing community. Denver and the surrounding regional communities have a wide variety of skatepark facilities and desirable municipal “skate spots,” but given their distance from Green Valley Ranch, do not provide easy access for the neighborhood youth. With this in mind, our intent was to create a skatepark environment specific to the needs of Green Valley Ranch while also making a significant contribution to the region. The ARTIFEX team had an initial planning meeting with the local riders of Green Valley Ranch to gather information about rider preferences. This local rider input, along with our research of local culture and skate spots, helped us establish our key areas of focus. Distinctive Features: Offers a good balance of street/plaza and transition elements Unique shaped bowled flow course complete with hips and varying heights Accomodates all skill levels and riding styles Reflects local culture of Green Valley Ranch area Courtesy of skatepark.com
