Cave

Lava Tube - Cave. These are formed when fluid, molten lava flows out of the ground, it behaves like a stream of water working its way downhill. But soon the "stream" surface cools and hardens. This crust then insulated the molten lava inside, enabling it to keep flowing. The molten lava inside the crust eventually flows out leaving the crust as the walls of a lava tube or "cave."

First time visiting this cave and was an absolute blast, the entrance is definitely the best part, with the wind whipping out of there. Lots of little lava candles along the walls and roof as well as crystal formations. if your willing to crawl a bit there are some neat little side rooms. Not a huge cave but big enough to explore for an hour or so. Oct 8 2023 Entrance is right along the road, coordinates are spot on in Google

I have been here multiple times(most recent 1-08-2021) the entrance is fine just small, it is very big down there if you know where to go. Be careful in summer though lots of rattlesnakes!

Found this entrance, directions are spot on however the cave has been filled in, there was a small hole that you can enter but not continue down. 30mph wind coming out of the hole, must be another opening elsewhere.

Went there to check out the cave but i couldnt even find it the coordinance must be wrong, really cool area lots of cool things to see. alot of rattlesnakes though so be warned, if someone finds it it would be amazing if this is updated. Also theres two ways there one is really rugged and worn the other is right next to a bunch of military restriced areas so keep on public roads.
