This trail starts out on the same track as the Green Mountain option. Take the Shingleman trail to the right, then make a left onto the Morrison Creek trail. Follow this down to Buffalo Creek Road. Go right on this doubletrack for about .3 miles, then head back up the singletrack Shingleman trail. This trail covers a large burned out area from a forest fire several years ago (before the Hayman fire). This trail is a bit sandier and more exposed than the Green Mountain option and climbs about 800 feet total. Courtesy of Singletracks.com

Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
