Chuck Wagon was adopted for mountain biking in the spring of 2012. It incorporates the original Chuck Wagon trail with what was once known locally as "Gunslinger." It is laid out in the standard of modern mountain bike trail building and flows nicely. This trail winds its way up and down through a variety of different landscapes, a true display of Sedona's diversity. This trail is fun in both directions and could be ridden as an out and back, or can be linked to Mescal and Long Canyon to make a loopIt is now a new "must ride" for Sedona mountain biking. Do it! You'll like it! Courtesy of Singletracks.com
Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
