Mountain Bike
Take the trail out of the parking lot and turn right at the shelter. Going counter-clockwise on this loop keeps the switchbacks on the uphill side. This is an easy trail that any beginner could ride, but is varied enough in terrain and tread to still be fun for more experienced riders. This would be like the equivalent of the green runs at Loveland ski area - harder than most other resorts' green runs, but not quite enough to call a blue. There's a cabin preserved for contemplative gawking and a burn area courtesy of a sloppy camper a few years back. The loop has a cuttoff across its upper third that you could use to make a figure-8, a lollipop or a shorter loop, though I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would want a shorter loop. It's a nice ride and one that will probably stay rideable well into the late and early seasons. Courtesy of Singletracks.com

Add ResourceNever modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
